- Total Schools: 14.71 lakh
- Schools without functional electricity: 1.52 lakh
- Government Schools: 10.17 lakh
- Schools with functional electricity: 9.12 lakh
- Schools without functional electricity: 1.52 lakh
- Government-aided, Private, and Other Schools: 4.54 lakh

Drinking Water Facilities
- Schools with drinking water facilities: 14.47 lakh

Access to Computers and Internet
- Schools with computers for teaching and learning: 7.48 lakh (50%)

- Private Unaided Schools:
- Schools with functional computers: 2.34 lakh (70.9%)
Infrastructure for Disabled Students
- Schools with ramps: 11.34 lakh (77%)
- Ramps with handrails: 7.69 lakh (52.3%)
Arts, Crafts, and Science Facilities
- Schools with arts and crafts rooms: 2.57 lakh (17.5%)
- Government schools: 9.9% of 10.17 lakh
- Schools with integrated science laboratories:
- Total schools with secondary sections: 2.86 lakh
- Schools with labs: 1.6 lakh (55.9%)
- Government secondary schools: 59,972 (50.2%)
Solar Panel Uptake
- Schools with solar panel facilities: 1.54 lakh (10.5%)
- Government schools: 89,746 (8.8%)
Conclusion
The report highlights critical areas requiring urgent attention, such as functional electricity, disabled-friendly infrastructure, arts and science facilities, and renewable energy adoption. Despite some improvements in drinking water and toilet availability, gaps persist, especially in government schools.
